Cards__Breanna McKendrick Photography_Utah Wedding PhotographerThe holidays are here! It can be stressful finding that perfect gift for your sister, family, mother, or wife.  It takes me forever to schedule time to take professional photos of Trevor and I. Why? BEcause life gets busy and I totally get that! You might be feeling the same way too!

So this year, for the FRIST TIME ever, I am offering Holiday Gift Cards! A Holiday  Gift card is good for a one hour photo session any time during 2015! This can be for small families or couples! The best part about them, is they are currently discounted from my 2014 rates. As my business is growing, 2015 rates might be slightly different, so this is a stellar time to ensure those pictures at the best price!

Krissi Maternity-005__Breanna McKendrick Photography_Utah Wedding PhotographerThis wedding season has been a beautiful. I have loved my brides and groom, I love celebrating them with on their wedding day and seeing them in the anticipation of the big day during their engagement session. I love weddings and love being a wedding photographer. But it is a little refreshing to do something new every once and a while. It keeps my “photo eyes” sharp and my mind creative. I feel like there are things I do and see from my non-wedding shoots that I can take back and incorporate into my bride and groom portraits to make them even better.

Wedding-231__Breanna McKendrick Photography_Utah Wedding PhotographerYou might recognize these two crazy kid now. Their beautiful engagement pictures and formal pictures have been on the blog and it has been fun sharing them. Alyson is a gorgeous girl and did such a beautiful job putting together a wonderful day for her celebration. It was full of vintage details and this girl has an eye for it all. Alyson has worked at Gateway Bridal as a bridal consultant, which means she knows a lot about the wedding world. Her dress was stunning and it fit the style of her day wonderfully.

Alyson and William fit together wonderfully. They would keep holding hands even when they were having conversations with two different wedding guests standing right next to each other. They stole little kisses and shared beautiful vows during their ring ceremony. I hope you enjoy their day as much as I did.

Goals__Breanna McKendrick Photography_Utah Wedding PhotographerI am a believer in goals. I think they are a great motivator and encourager! They help people change and grow! But boy are they intimidating. As my business has changed and grown, my goals for it have changed, but I have felt paralyzed to really set them and make achievable sets for a while. Goals are GREAT, we know this, so why am I being such a baby about them?

…. Because I am scared! I am scared of failure and being vulnerable. I am scared to open up and share my inner hopes and dreams. These walls are reoccurring monsters in my personal and professional growth. You might feel the same way. In preparation for an epic 2015, I have decided to start with goals I have for the month of december with you all!

Bridal Vintage Details-002__Breanna McKendrick Photography_Utah Wedding PhotographerI love the detail oriented bride! I have been at and photographed tons of weddings in the last 3 years and I can strongly attest that details of a wedding make a big difference. Those details help set apart your day and make your wedding completely unique. Details can help tie styles together and emphasize themes that will make your event stunning and memorable. They also take thought and preparations. From the table settings, to escort cards, chalkboard direction signs, stationary, dessert tables, etc. It takes time but contributes SO much to the feel of a day. For a truly spectacular event, think about the details that will leave your guest speechless and solidify your theme.
