Chrimas2__Breanna McKendrick Photography_Utah Wedding PhotographerI can’t believe the holidays are here! Time has rushed by so quickly and it has been a busy off season! 2014 has been a terrific year and I couldn’t be more grateful for all of my Brides and Grooms that has made it so successful!!

For the rest of the year, Trevor and I will be taking some much needed time away from Salt Lake. We will be spending time with family, my little sister is getting married, and taking my final test for my ASCP Certification for my day job! It is a lot to fit into a week and a half, which is why I have decided to take a break from blogging for this next week and a half.

Wedding-179__Breanna McKendrick Photography_Utah Wedding PhotographerOur wedding day was COLD! Utah…. in December…. what can you expect?! I had been stressing all month long that there would be a snow storm or that the roads wold be bad for our guests to travel. That was a risk of choosing December for our wedding date!  Fortunately, we woke up and the roads were snow free, and the weather said we would be blizzard free!

Our wedding day flew by so fast and I wish I could have stopped time for just a moment. Saying it was a fun day would be a serious understatement.

I think all of my photography friends will agree that building a photography business is not a small task. I know I am not alone in running a full time business alongside a full time job, part time job, or even all the mothers out there that are running a business from home while taking care of their kids.

I have a day job in health care that consumes a lot of my time and energy. I work a job in health care that has 10 hour days, 7 days in a row- then get a wonderful 7 days off.  After a full seven days of working, I am tired. It is hard

Wedding-322__Breanna McKendrick Photography_Utah Wedding PhotographerYou guys have seen their engagements, and you have seen their formals, but now it is time to share their beautiful wedding day. Brittanie had thought through every little detail. She had incorporated so many of her wonderful family into her celebration that couldn’t help but to feel like one of the bunch. The sky was full of billowing clouds and movement was alive in the house.
