I remember meeting Aja and Taylor for the first time and thinking, wow, these two have got things together! They were so level headed in their wedding planning and the questions they had asked during our consultation. You could tell they not only had a vision for their wedding day, but for their marriage as well. They were on the same page about everything. I knew they had had consultations with several other photographers for their big day and I wondered if our styles would match to capture their well thought out day.
IT IS HERE! I can’t believe it is finished and today is the launch day! I have wanted a promotional video for Breanna McKendrick Photography for a long while now. It has been on the to-do list along with a slew of other “secret projects” that I have been working on. And I am so happy to say this project is finally getting crossed off the list and I can share it with you all!! THE PROMOTIONAL VIDEO IS HERE!
Andrea and Jon are getting married TODAY! I cannot believe it is already here! They choose to have a first look session a few weeks before their wedding date. I love these sessions. They might be one of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer. I could go on and on about it. I wrote all of the reasons why I love a first look session here.
Andrea got out of the car with her mom and sister and literally made me swoon. She looked stunning! The sky was over cast which makes for perfect pictures with a pops of vibrant colors and I got really excited. I couldn’t ask for a better support team than her family during her session. They were ready with flowers, hair fixing, dress fluffing. The works! It made the night go smoothly and we worked quickly in the evening sun.
April has been a busy month as we have started to gear up for the busy wedding season! It is coming in with full force and I have been so delighted with my wonderful 2014 Brides and Grooms. I am blessed to be apart of their lives and overjoyed to share with them in this exciting moment. But in the back of my mind, I have been thinking all month long. What can I share with my brides and photographers alike that will help them gear up for this wedding season?
As photographers we gear up and get ready. I mean that literally. We take our gear in to be cleaned, check and clear off old memory cards, buy a new hard drive for this years coming wedding, and clean out that camera bag. As brides, you are in the mist of planning. Getting florals, cake, a DJ, seating, worrying about what to wear for your engagements and much more!
So with these thoughts rumbling around and some brainstorming, I have put together my April Newsletter packed with things that will help with all of the wedding build up. It will be sent out on Wednesday, so if you want to see it, better sign up.

Sarah and Kyle just celebrated their second year wedding anniversary. However, they fit together so well though that it is easy to assume that they have been together for much much longer.
I have known Kyle and his family for years. I was roommates with his older sister Natania in College. I got to hear the stories of how Kyle crashed his Dad’s car on his 18th birthday (oops, did you not want me to say that Kyle?), we saw him get accepted to college, served a church mission, and then we started to hear about how he meet a girl through work named Sarah.
