There are moments when all the pieces of the puzzle just fall into place. This past engagement session at Tibble Fork was just one of those days where you count your lucky stars that those puzzle pieces fell into just the right places.  Anna and Sage are getting married this May, (cough my birthday month, cough) AND they are getting married in the same place that Trevor and I got married in over 2 years ago! I don’t have favorite couples, but this is seriously a sign that we were to be friends.

I have been completely in awe of all of the couples that have entered our 2014 Annual Wedding Giveaway this year! For our grand entry round, we had a total of 295 entries. YES, TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE ENTRIES! It was so nerve racking sitting down to Rafflecopters random generator to pick JUST FIVE couples who would proceed on as our Semi-Finalist. I wish I could get the chance to sit down with every couple that entered and get to know who they are. I want to know how they met, I want to know about their wedding plans. This is my very favorite part of being a wedding photographer.

The sun is always shinning in the southwest. Ok, call me out, that might be a little bit of an exaggeration. Growing up in New Mexico, I know that even in the desert of the southwest you get gloomy days, rain and even shockingly snow. However take one look at this lovely late February engagement session and you realize that it is great to escape the inversion and winters chill that Northern Utah has.
