There were nothing but smiles. When talking with Lindsey the week of her wedding, she seemed calmed, relax and just excited to get married. (This was not the case for me a week before I got married, I was a roller coaster of emotions!). Andrew and Lindsey are pretty level headed and knew weather it rained or shined, they were getting married and that was the most important thing that was happening. Nothing in those final days before their wedding would stop that from happening and that fact along was going to make this day a perfect and beautiful day.
Right after Lindsey and Andrew’s ceremony, the family went to the Lion House on Temple Square to have a luncheon before the reception. The florals had sheet music wrapped around the vases to showcase how much music meant in Lindsey and Andrew’s life. Both are so very talented, and they sung together at the luncheon. It was a beautiful incorporation of who Lindsey and Andrew are as a couple and what makes them special.
Their fathers gave excellent toasts to and congradulations to the new couple.
Their reception was at Chantilly Mansion in Layton, Utah. It was a beautiful. With most LDS brides, we take the “getting ready” pictures right before the reception. These few moments of a bride with her mother and bridesmaids are wonderful moments. A little focused memory in a fast paced wedding day.
Congrats Lindsey and Andrew! I am so happy for you both!
